TOYS: 1960'S BUSY BUNNY MECHANICAL WIND-UP IN ORIG. BOX

Estate Item # 1727 - Busy Bunny is blue w/white fur at neck,  6 1/2" tall, waist moves up and down and tail spins, rabbit takes pictures w/metal rangefinder camera it is holding, Pink Box is 5 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 2", Cloth over Metal; ALPS - Rock Valley Toys, Made in Japan - Shojii Ltd Company.

This is a 1960's dime store toy (79 cents) has a cloth body over metal with a key in the back to wind up making the Busy Bunny which is holding a metal rangefinder camera move at the waist up and down and makes the bunny tail whirl around. The bunny is blue "fur" with a partly white face, red button eyes and nose. The original pink box and bunny are in excellent condition. Maker: Rock Valley Toys, registered trade mark in a circle w/VIA in a circle (see pic)  are on the bottom of the box. On the front of the box is the Trade Mark ALPS w/mountain illustration, Made in Japan. On the side is a blue logo w/a seal shape w/a pink ball saying Frankonia seal of approval toys. This toy was a series offering: talking on the telephone, eating ice cream & taking pictures - the latter is what we have here. This toy is in working condition & fun to watch. Value of this item in Original Box, windup, cloth over metal & w/metal camera, clean is estimated to be $132.50 - will sell for $125.00 plus $6.00 shipping and insurance - USA Total $131.00.
