ITEM# 1424: CLOTHING - CHILD'S LICENSED D.C. COMICS SUPERMAN T-SHIRT & BELT

SUPERMAN PEANUT BUTTER T-SHIRT & BLUE & RED REVERSIBLE ELASTIC SUPERMAN BELT w/LICENSED BUCKLE - circa 1981

This item belonged to my son who now wants to sell it.

T-SHIRT: Child's white size 6-8 Screen Stars TM 50 cotton 50 poly T-Shirt with the SUPERMAN LOGO advertising SUPERMAN PEANUT BUTTER. Trim on short sleeves & neck is red. On the back is a jar of Superman Peanut Butter © 1981. Shirt has these colors: white, red, yellow, black & aqua/blue. Shirt has Trademark and © D.C. Comics, Inc & 1944 (which was when the Superman character was created).

BELT is a reversible elastic blue one side & red on the other with a clamp to adjust for the size of the waist and a metal enameled buckle. The Superman logo is on the front of this buckle in enameled red & yellow and is 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" and the back is embossed with: Made in USA © D. C. COMICS, INC. 1944 Lee ® N. Y. C. (as in Lee jeans) Belt is approx 33 inches long from buckle to clasp. Words on the belt both sides are "The Man of Steel" "SUPERMAN" (in 3D effect). There are teeth marks from the adjustable clamp in one spot.

	After searching for this item & only finding newer belt buckles and no belts like this at all, I must say that this item is probably very hard to find and or rare and worth $40.00.
