Adorable pottery item for baby's room from the '50s which can either hold a plant or your baby's comb & brush or other items - plenty of space inside the BCD cube with a cute baby attached to the side - full figure - under cover of a pink blanket. This item is hand painted and it also has its original metalized paper tag of black w/gold border & words of R/B and then Made in Japan. SIZE: cube is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and child is 4 1/2" tall. This item weighs unboxed 13.3 oz & is sturdy. There is a hairline crack you really have to look for on the letter C side. The photos do not show how cute this items is & some make it appear yellow which it is not. Colors are white, pink, blue glazed inside & out. Base is white & unglazed & has air hole for child which is attached to block. I could not find the name of the company by researching the tag. This item is larger than any I saw offered on the web.
