How they operate: Each book has a red wood stick for the child to insert into a hole to make the inner page turn to tell the story. DYCO published 3 mechanical children's books in 1948 & 1949. He offered them by the box to Gift shops like the one my parents had at The Virginia Motel in New Markey VA. A few years ago, this publisher purchased all 3 of these books (and a few extra copies) as family keepsakes. Since we only have a few available in Mint Condition our price is $100.00 each plus First Class Shipping & insurance.
