Wooden items, made in part or in whole of wood have been with us since time began - but we don't have anything that old :) What we do have will appear here even if it could be listed under kitchen or other household including tools of wood & anything that is made of wood - except furniture which has its own page. A Tip from www.Kovels.com : How to Sanitize Wooden Utensils - March 2012
Sanitize old wooden bowls, spoons, cookie molds, and cutting boards with a hydrogen peroxide wash. Pour 3 percent hydrogen peroxide on the wood. Let it fizz and foam for a minute or two, then wash it off.
